. . .
Don’t worry don’t worry
Find ways to make money
Good grades plus hard work
. . .
Minus years of your childhood
Equals years of college
Which is adjacent to becoming a surf
To the lords of capitalism
. . .
Don’t worry don’t worry
Save up to retire
Because the only life worth living
. . .
Is the one that’s already passed you by
But with every two weeks of vacation
You can make up the time
. . .
Don’t worry don’t worry
About all this
screaming to escape
But the plan worked for your parents
. . .
So maybe we’ll be ok so long as we
Ignore the hole digging its way through
Polluted hearts drip drip dripping
Down the drain even the sky’s tears
Can no longer contain
. . .
Don’t worry don’t worry
You can’t hurt no more
If you don’t have anybody
. . .
We can make it
Take the knife you once used to cut
Yourself a dinner each day your mother
Couldn’t stand to cook for her children
. . .
And carve out your own window
To jump to safety
. . .
Even if safety
Feels a lot like six feet under
. . .
Don’t worry
Because as of today
We can ethically source your
tombstone
i really like the title
